What the research says about Panax ginseng

Panax Ginseng is named in the blend above. The page gives no separate amount for it. A 2008 systematic review in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology looked at randomized trials of Korean red ginseng, which the authors define as "unskinned Panax ginseng before it is steamed or otherwise heated and subsequently dried". Their results: "Seven RCTs met all the inclusion criteria. Their methodological quality was low on average." Their conclusion: "Collectively these RCTs provide suggestive evidence for the effectiveness of red ginseng in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. However, the total number of RCTs included in the analysis, the total sample size and the methodological quality of the primary studies were too low to draw definitive conclusions. Thus more rigorous studies are necessary."

The authors are Jang, Lee, Shin, Lee and Ernst. The abstract gives no milligram dose. They reviewed other studies. They did not test Rhino Gold 14K Pill Male Enhancement.

What the FDA says about sexual enhancement products

The FDA page "Sexual Enhancement and Energy Product Notifications" (content current as of 10/15/2026) says: "Many products that claim to help with sexual enhancement or treat sexual dysfunction—such as male enhancement supplements, erectile dysfunction treatments, male energy pills and stamina pills—are likely to be contaminated with dangerous hidden ingredients."

The FDA has a notice titled "Public Notification: Gold Rhino 25000 contains hidden drug ingredient", dated 7-31-2018. It says: "The Food and Drug Administration is advising consumers not to purchase or use Gold Rhino 25000, a product promoted for sexual enhancement." It also says: "FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Gold Rhino 25000 contains sildenafil" and "This undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels."

Another notice is titled "Public Notification: Rhino Blitz Gold 3000 contains hidden drug ingredient", dated 03-03-2015. It says: "The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to purchase or use Rhino Blitz, a product promoted for sexual enhancement." Those quotes cover only the products those two notices name.
