A combination of solid-phase extraction and liquid-liquid extraction is employed prior to reversed-phase LC/MS/MS to ensure optimal accuracy.

To evaluate accuracy, a recovery study was conducted using testosterone-spiked serum. The recovery of the added testosterone consistently ranged from 100.0 to 100.3%, showcasing the method's precision.
