What the research says about maca root

Maca Root is named in the blend above. The page gives no separate amount for it. A 2008 study in CNS Neuroscience and Therapeutics compared two maca doses, 1.5 g a day and 3.0 g a day. It was double-blind and randomized, with 20 remitted depressed outpatients who had sexual dysfunction linked to SSRI medicines. The authors report: "ITT subjects on 3.0 g/day maca had a significant improvement in ASEX (from 22.8+/-3.8 to 16.9+/-6.2; z=-2.20, P=0.028) and in MGH-SFQ scores (from 24.1+/-1.9 to 17.0+/-5.7; z=-2.39, P=0.017), but subjects on 1.5 g/day maca did not." The authors are Dording and colleagues, from Massachusetts General Hospital. The title calls it a pilot study. They did not test Kangaroo Male Enhancement Pill Stronger Erection.

What the FDA says about sexual enhancement products

The FDA page "Sexual Enhancement and Energy Product Notifications" (content current as of 10/15/2026) says: "Many products that claim to help with sexual enhancement or treat sexual dysfunction—such as male enhancement supplements, erectile dysfunction treatments, male energy pills and stamina pills—are likely to be contaminated with dangerous hidden ingredients."

The FDA has a notice titled "Kangaroo Intense Venus 3000 may be harmful due to hidden drug ingredient", dated 7-23-2026. It says: "The Food and Drug Administration is advising consumers not to purchase or use Kangaroo Intense Venus 3000, a product promoted for sexual enhancement" and "FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Kangaroo Intense Venus 3000 contains sildenafil not listed on the product label."

A second notice is titled "Public Notification: Australia Kangaroo Essence contains hidden drug ingredient", dated 11-19-2015. It says: "The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to purchase or use Australia Kangaroo Essence, a product promoted for sexual enhancement." It also says: "FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Australia Kangaroo Essence contains sildenafil".

Those quotes cover only the products those two notices name.
