What the research says about Tribulus terrestris

The page lists Tribulus terrestris 100mg. A 2005 study in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology gave Tribulus terrestris extract to 21 healthy men aged 20 to 36. Two groups got 20 or 10 mg per kg of body weight a day, in three daily intakes, for 4 weeks. A third group got placebo. Each group had 7 men. The authors measured testosterone, androstenedione and luteinizing hormone. They report: "There was no significant difference between Tribulus terrestris supplemented groups and controls in the serum testosterone". They add: "All results were within the normal range." They also state: "The findings in the current study anticipate that Tribulus terrestris steroid saponins possess neither direct nor indirect androgen-increasing properties." The authors are Neychev and Mitev, from the Medical University of Sofia. They did not test Magnum Red 500k Sex Pill to Last Longer.

What the FDA says about sexual enhancement products

The FDA page "Sexual Enhancement and Energy Product Notifications" (content current as of 10/15/2026) says: "Many products that claim to help with sexual enhancement or treat sexual dysfunction—such as male enhancement supplements, erectile dysfunction treatments, male energy pills and stamina pills—are likely to be contaminated with dangerous hidden ingredients."

The FDA has a notice titled "MAGNUM Brand products may be harmful due to hidden drug ingredients", dated 7-1-2026. It says: "FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that MAGNUM XXL 300K Honey contains sildenafil and tadalafil not listed on the product label." It also says: "These may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels."

Earlier entries in that notice, dated 12-8-2021 and 11-24-2020, name Magnum XXL 9800 and Magnum XXL 50K. One says: "FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Magnum XXL 9800 and Magnum XXL 50K contain sildenafil not listed on the product label." Those quotes cover only the products that notice names.

The Magnum notice also says: "Consumers should exercise caution before purchasing these products."
